How to Use Easy Mix Mortar
Mixing
Pour the 20kg mortar mix into a wheelbarrow or bucket.
Add approx. 2 litres of clean water gradually.
Mix thoroughly until you reach a smooth, trowelable paste. Avoid an overly wet consistency.
Application
For laying bricks or blocks:
Use a trowel to spread mortar on surfaces and between joints.
Tap bricks into place and remove excess mortar.
For repairs:
Remove loose or crumbling mortar first.
Apply new mortar into joints and smooth with a jointing tool.
Curing
Keep mortar moist for the first 24–48 hours (especially in hot or windy conditions).
Light misting helps ensure proper curing and strength gain.
