Installation Steps

Plan Your Layout

Space the stones naturally, about 40–60 cm apart, to match a walking stride

Lay out on the surface to visualize shape and flow

Mark & Excavate

Trace around each stone

Excavate soil to match the stone’s thickness (typically 30–50 mm deep)

Prepare the Base

Add a stabilising layer of crusher dust, sand, or road base

Level the base to keep steppers flat and secure

Lay the Steppers

Set the stones into the base

Tap gently with a rubber mallet to ensure stability and evenness

Backfill

Fill around the stones with gravel, soil, or low-growing groundcover plants
