How to Use Coarse Sand

Soil Amendment for Gardening

Mix coarse sand into heavy clay soil at a ratio of 1 part sand to 2 parts soil to improve drainage and aeration. Apply the mixture before planting to ensure the soil is well-drained.

Construction (Mortar)

When mixing  mortar, combine coarse sand with cement and water as per your project's requirements. 

Landscaping & Pathways

Spread coarse sand over garden beds, walkways, or driveways and compact it to create a firm, stable surface.

Paver Base Layer
