How to Use Wintergreen Couch Grass
Preparation
Clear the area of old grass, weeds, and debris.
Spread turf underlay or sandy loam soil to a depth of 100–150 mm.
Level and firm the soil surface before laying the turf.
Installation
Lay turf rolls tightly with staggered seams (brick pattern).
Water thoroughly immediately after laying.
Keep soil moist for the first 2–3 weeks to encourage root establishment.
Maintenance
Mow to 10–20 mm height weekly during the growing season.
Fertilise every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer for lush colour.
Water deeply but only when needed (drought-tolerant when mature).
Dethatch annually if needed to reduce thatch buildup.
