How to Use Tropika Blue Couch Grass
Soil Preparation
Remove weeds and existing grass, and level the soil.
Apply 100–150 mm of turf underlay (sandy loam works best).
Level and lightly compact the soil for a smooth surface.
Laying the Turf
Lay rolls or slabs in a brickwork pattern with edges tightly joined.
Water immediately and deeply.
Keep soil moist for the first 2–3 weeks during establishment.
Maintenance
Mow to 10–25 mm regularly (it thrives with short, frequent mowing).
Fertilise every 6–8 weeks in warmer months for best colour and density.
Water deeply but infrequently once established.
