How to Use Zoysia Pacific
Preparation
Clear the site of weeds, rocks, and debris.
Spread Quality Turf Underlay or a sandy loam soil to a depth of 100–150 mm.
Level and lightly compact the soil surface.
Installation
Lay turf rolls/stolons tightly with offset seams (like bricks).
Use a roller to press turf into good contact with the soil.
Water immediately after installation, keeping it consistently moist for 2–3 weeks during establishment.
Maintenance
Mow every 2–3 weeks during growing season (cut to 30–50 mm).
Fertilise 3 times per year (early spring, summer, autumn).
Water deeply but infrequently once established (drought-tolerant).
Dethatch every 2–3 years if needed.
